Australian Wood Wine Stopper #WSW0002

Hand turned food safe wood wine stopper.   This piece is a rare and unique Coolibah burl imported from Australia.   The burl is a growth area in the tree that produces unique grains and textures in the wood.   When turned they become beautiful one of a kind pieces turned on my lathe.   I finish each piece with high temperature food grade Carnauba wax.   The Carnauba finish will not chip or yellow with age.   Finishing is done on the lathe using friction to generate the heat necessary to melt the wax.
